SPICE UP YOUR IMAGE
For the fourth year in a row, more than 5,000 people will gather on 106th Street between Lexington and Third Avenues, in the heart of Spanish Harlem, to see singers from Puerto Rico and the United States battle for top honors in the world's premiere event for improvised Puerto Rican music. The Festival, supported by the National Endowment for the Arts and JPMorganChase, represents a unique opportunity for businesses and institutions to support a family-friendly cultural event that offers real substance to its attendees, including a modern-day exposition of a centuries-old art form.
For many Puerto Ricans born and raised off the island, jibaro music is sometimes considered the nostalgic artifact of an older generation. But The International Troubadour Festival is changing minds, exciting Spanish-speaking audiences with a living music that still has the power to entertain and inspire. Today, Puerto Rican folkloric music is finding new life among a generation of Puerto Ricans eager to discover the jeweled fragments of the cultural mosaic that is their heritage.
The private and public sectors of New York City are distinguished for their history of supporting cultural events. We will reciprocate with an event that perfectly fit your demands of quality and quantity. We were able to attract more than ten thousand people last year. Audience that was very attentive and fascinated by the uniqueness of the competition.
